The convention itself works anywhere — it's simply a way of writing comments. What isn't available everywhere yet is the tooling: the toolbar, validation, and the pull request check.

Need another platform?

Open an issue on the repository and tell us which platform you use and roughly how many people would benefit from it. We use that information to decide what to support next.

We don't promise dates. A platform is only listed as available once it actually works.

what you need:

The extension needs no infrastructure.

Install it, allow the domains where you review, and it works: the toolbar, shortcuts, and live feedback. No account, no server, no configuration required. The store listings haven't been published yet, so for now the extension is installed from a release archive. The installation page provides browser-specific instructions.

An authoritative, platform-level merge check is on the roadmap, but isn't part of the extension today. There's nothing to deploy to get started.

and where it runs:

Only the domains you allow.

The extension doesn't request access to every site. A fresh install has access to none — github.com included. Every domain is granted one at a time: your browser asks for that permission, you choose whether to grant it, and you can withdraw it afterwards from the extension's own options page.

Two permissions in total: one to remember your preferences and one to work inside the page. No account. No stored token. The extension cannot load code from anywhere else. That restriction is enforced technically and verified again with every release.

If your platform is listed, you can start today.

Nothing becomes blocking until your team decides it should.
